Everyone can reach their highest potential. Discipline, determination and sure willpower are necessary values to apply to any attainable goal. Be sure your goals are realistic and then get started. Set out a measurable plan, give it a timetable, and take the first step. Dive into your program and do it everyday until you’ve met the first level. Re-think, fine-tune and improve through your experiences of what is working and what isn’t. Calibrate to perfection. Write about it, talk about it, coach about it and then just do it.
Visualization
Imagination is a power tool. Draw a picture on paper and another in your mind. Create a storyboard with paper, artwork and tactile visuals. Cut dreams out of magazines, photograph your desires and set an image that you can reach. Design a career, a lifestyle, a body shape or an Olympic feat … attach reminders in your car, on the bathroom mirror, or on the top shelf of the refrigerator. Repeat affirmations hourly, daily, during prayers or meditations. Stay on task. Listen to the positive inner voice, not the one testing your will. And then just do it.
