DEPRESSION & SADNESS

There are many words used to describe our innermost feelings when it comes to identifying why we don’t feel quite up to par. Depression, sadness, loneliness, and sorrow are some. Circumstances often trigger the blues and are responsible for countless trips to the psychotherapist.

Ask yourself, “ Was the session a foggy experience or was it helpful? Am I now equipped to make changes? Do I feel better” If you answer no to any of these questions, you’re edging closer to coaching as another choice for find the “yes” answers in life.

Feelings are the result of current events stirring up emotional reactions. Some responses are healthy, some are not. The key question is, “what is the real cause for my gloomy disposition, and am I repeating old patterns that no longer serve me?”

Sadness is a natural feeling and should be honored. It’s normal to cry or feel unresolved. Grieve is important and it’s vital to release tension. Coaching helps dig into the why, what and how questions and begin designing a new style for personal growth.

Some forms of depression can be triggered by food allergies, ill health, or other situations that dissolve away quickly. However, clinical depression can be present for no known reason, and linger for weeks at a time. If you think you could be clinically depressed, then psychiatric assistance, along with coaching is an effective approach for balancing your life.

Coaching maps out tangible solutions and directs implementation. If you’re ready for coaching it can be your best friend.
